The National Transportation Authority and the Nature and Parks Authority are launching an integrated multi-line ticket Card ''RAV KAV'' upon entry into the Nature Reserves and National Parks.
The new ticket, called ISRAEL PASS & Ride, will be sold to tourists in the "on line" positions at Ben Gurion Airport and Ramon Airports, as well as several hostels and other points of sale, and will allow public transport and entrance to the nature reserves and national parks.
Against the backdrop of increased tourist traffic to Israel and the desire to enhance their travel experience in Israel by making the trip more comfortable and friendly for them, the Nature and Parks Authority, the National Transportation Authority in the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Tourism launch for the first time a combined public transport card that also includes a discount at the National Parks and Nature Reserves entrance. An English language information site has also been set up for the comfort of tourists arriving in Israel (www.israelpass.biz).
The new card is the same as an anonymous multi-line card - RAV KAV'', without the need to provide personal information, while also integrating access to several Nature and Parks Authority sites, similar to the current tourist cards, as well as discounts at a number of attractions up to a 40%.
